A Message From Scott Williams

I have served as Principal and Head of School at Christian Fellowship School for 25 years.  Because of my experience, I am rarely surprised by things that happen around a school setting.  Then came the COVID-19 pandemic.  This pandemic has upset all our lives.  I am very proud, however, of how our school community, including administrators, teachers, students, and parents embraced the remote instruction CFS implemented when we had to stop in-class instruction.  Students continue to learn and remain connected to their classmates and teachers with online instruction and resources, Zoom meetings, phone calls, and even some letter writing.

Unfortunately, due to pandemic related lay-offs, furloughs, and business losses, many of our families are facing financial difficulties.  It appears for CFS to maintain its current enrollment level and provide Christian education to students from families with financial need, we will need a strong tuition assistance program this coming year.  In addition, our teachers, whose salaries are significantly below those of public schools, have not received a salary increase since 2018 due to budget constraints.  We certainly need to provide a small step increase for our exceptional faculty this next school year.

Will you please help us meet these important needs by giving to the CFS Annual Fund?

This fund bridges the gap between the school’s operating costs and tuition income and supports our tuition assistance program and teachers’ salaries.  By contributing to the CFS Annual Fund, you make it possible for CFS to serve the maximum number of students with the highest quality of teachers.
